‘Where I live in the Blue Mountains, you know summer’s coming when the frogs start singing again in the pond, says Julie. ‘We’ve noticed they are not as boisterous as usual this year, and there’s something really spooky about what’s happening with the frogs across Eastern Australia. They are shriveling up and dying. It’s not normal and we need to know what’s going on.

I painted this endangered Giant Barred Frog before this strange mortality event began. Taking action is even more urgent now.’ The Big Picture Collective is proud to donate to support the Australian Museum. Their FrogID team is leading the way in investigating this crisis, so they can work out how to save our unique frog species from extinction.
